How can I reduce the BOD and oil and grease in my waste stream?

Question: We have a comparatively small batch waste treatment system. We have two 10K gallon tanks. They have activated dregs from the municipal waste treatment facility. Our water is justly clear, the TSS is about 200 mg/l. We think our problem is soluble BOD contributing to oil and grease.

Answer: The consecration of an oil/water separator would reduce your O&G. If you inject a bacteria, you will constraint to include it on your permit, or revise your permit as it would be considered a treatment manage.
