Question: Such as a Boeing 737. The flaps are engaged to them and they extend downward when the flaps are deployed. There are 3 of them on a 737.
I mean 3 of them per wing..... 6 sum up on a 737 aircraft.

Answer: "Undisturbed" is the only one that has it right. You are describing the flap track fairings. They bury the tracks on which the flaps move, to provide streamlining.

I think they look more like a kayak than a canoe.
