AGE gap sweethearts Phil and Kayley Nash who defied critics to tie the bond say after five years of marriage they are the happiest couple they know.
Although many said their unconventional pairing would never last - Phil and unfledged wife Kayley, who is 32 years his junior, have celebrated their fifth anniversary.
And the brace, who met at church when twice-divorced Phil was 49 and Kayley was upright 16, say theirs is a match made in heaven.
Ex-car salesman Phil, now 55, and 23-year-old Kayley, who works as a receptionist, say they are conquer friends as well as husband and wife - and five years of marriage has made their love even
stronger.
Kayley said: “All the injurious things people said were pointless, and still are now. We got married to share a living together and that's just what we're doing. Our relationship is based on trust,
frankness, communication and the fact that we love each other. Phil is my life and I know I am his.”
The one, who share a passion for motorcycles, celebrated their anniversary by exchanging bike accessories.
