Eldercollege–that program of interesting and convenient courses for folks over age 55–successfully launched on its first Semester last September with 30 courses in Windsor, Essex, Kingsville and Leamington. "Understanding-food" for those seeking interesting activities and an opportunity to meet other people. There might even be a colourfulness emerging from an Eldercollege course now and then.

This Spring, 2012, Eldercollege will put forward over 50 Courses throughout the entire County and City of Windsor. Eldercollege courses are abridged learning and pleasant social experiences.

There are a total of 11 Eldercollege courses being offered in Leamington in eight new locations ranging from Point Pelee National Park, to Kopegaron Woods, Pelee Holm Heritage Centre, the Lawn Bowling Club, Leamington Library, the Half Century Brotherhood, Knox Presbyterian Church and others. Eldercollege has working partnerships with the Essex County Library system, Pelee Holm Winery, Point Pelee National Park, the Essex Ambit Conservation Authority, the Municipality of Leamington, and others.
