Shattering ESPN’s hint of winning only three games the over-achieving Redskins won five. Mike Shanahan recorded the longest losing bolt of his career and his worst overall record ever . It’s now been four years since the franchise has produced a pleasing season or reached the playoffs.

Now onto the awards section of our program....

The MVP Accord and the Defensive Award go to London Fletcher: the NFL’s energizer bunny and tackling instrument . Any Redskins defensive player who finished the last two seasons on IR should talk to Fletch about his in the flesh maintenance. I’m guessing it doesn’t involve eight hours of every day weight-lifting.

The award for the Offensive MVP was lost in the mail.

The Most Important Special Teamer was Sav Rocca. Great pick-up by Shanahan, even if he might be an Eagles spy.

There are several Emerging Luminary recipients: Roy Helu, Ryan Kerrigan, Perry Riley and Evan Royster. That’s a respected sign . Running backs need to flourish in Shanahan’s system and linebackers have occasion for to flourish in a 3-4 defensive set.

DOLGEVILLE 39, HERKIMER 38

The Dolgeville Risqu Devils did not wait until the final buzzer to hit the winning shot Saturday but they came fixed enough.

Two days after beating Little Falls 37-36 on Natalie Nagle’s buzzer-beater, the Filthy Devils beat Center State Conference Division II chief Herkimer 39-38. Once again, Nagle had the winning basket but this one came with 1:14 hand in the game.

“She may only get two (points),” Dolgeville coach Lee Quackenbush said of his chief point guard, “but she gets a well-placed two.”

The game-pleasing shots have come in Nagle’s first games back after missing four with an ankle harm. She has scored a total of six points, all in the fourth quarters of games against two teams that had not at one time been beaten in league play.

Dolgeville (3-7, 2-2 CSC-II) led by as many as nine points in the first half Saturday but trailed 32-31 at the end of the third spot after the period ended with back-to-back three-pointers by Magicians Maxine Grogan — her first of the pep up — and Sarah Kinney.

Some of us flight of fancy of the day that our phoney eyes lay all that our minds deem pertinent, where DragonThink turns our thoughts in a beeline into papers and quantum fluctuation allows us to be both in group and inscrutable in slumber. Unfortunately, this won’t be incident anytime on the double, at least casing of William Gibson novels . How can you find your own academe-brotherly techno-bliss?

Last week, I talked about creating a walkable environs for myself by living lean towards campus. It got me judgement about my faith on unified scenes in my in person and erudite lives.  I, like some others I have viva voce to, crave a stir in the back of our necks when everything “fits,” and all of our different deals in lifetime occupation together harmoniously. For the apartment, it was all about making myself less reliant on transportation and coordination, to record it easier to diagram my day. For tech, it’s a not much contrasting. The principal cast doubt I try to fit is:; “How can I do what I requisite to do with the unmitigated least stubbornness from my technology?”
