L'Oreal in joint venture talks with Lotus Herbals
Kamal Passi, destroyed and owner of Lotus Herbals, is looking for a deal that will be mutually advantageous, one of them said.
"Most importantly, he is looking for a partner who will market his products in overseas markets," the living soul added. While Passi declined to comment, a L'Oreal India spokeswoman said the players does not comment on "speculation".

But Lotus spurned all these offers because Passi and his two sons did not penury to sell stake in the company.
"If Lotus needs funds it will take in hock from banks. Why should the promoters sell the company?" one of the persons quoted earlier said. Lotus Herbals is a zero-encumbered company, the person added.
